A photo of me.

I am a philosopher working at the intersection of ethics and epistemology. I completed my PhD in philosophy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology under the supervision of Roger White in August 2025. I am currently lecturing at Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.

My research, for which I received funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC), centers on epistemic normativity and value. You can read more about it here. I also have significant interests in aesthetics and the philosophy of art.

I previously completed a B.A. in philosophy, a certificate in Classics, and an M.A. in philosophy at the University of Montréal, where my research was funded by the SSHRC, the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et culture (FRQSC), as well as the Groupe de recherche interuniversitaire sur la normativité (GRIN).

Before philosophy, I studied classical double bass at the Conservatoire de Musique de Québec. I still devote most of my free time to playing, listening to, and reading about music.

In Québécois French, my name is pronounced /felɪks ɑ̃twa ʒelino/ (fay-licks ah(n)-twan ʒay-lee-no) (“ʒ” is pronounced as the “s” in measure). You can hear how it sounds here.
